Toronto, ON – May 29, 2025 – Taste of Ukraine Day is taking place this evening at Trident Banquet Hall in Toronto, bringing together Canadian buyers, retailers, and distributors to discover export-ready food and beverage products from Ukraine.
Meest Canada is proud to support the event as the official logistics partner, ensuring seamless coordination and delivery of samples and materials for participating Ukrainian producers.
Organized by Nazovni.online, the Entrepreneurship and Export Development Office, Diia.Business, and the Canada-Ukraine Chamber of Commerce, the event highlights the quality, resilience, and innovation of Ukraine’s food industry, with a focus on building new trade connections in Canada.
“We don’t just move packages — we move potential,” said Ivan Marchenko, Chief Operating Officer of Meest Canada, during his speech at the event. “For 35 years, Meest has proudly served the Ukrainian community in Canada, and today, we’re proud to help Ukrainian businesses grow globally.”
Attendees are enjoying live networking, presentations from Ukrainian producers, and tastings of signature dishes such as borsch and creamy banosh — all aimed at showcasing authentic Ukrainian products ready for export.
The event reflects a shared commitment to supporting Ukraine’s economy, expanding market access, and building bridges between Canadian and Ukrainian businesses.
